Images are good, colorful and sharp. Video is not so good. Camera feels sturdy in hand, though a bit big. Surprisingly, for me the images from this G16 are far better than 1st gen G7 X, newer Canon premium compact with a bigger sensor. Af is sluggish, if pretty accurate.
Anyways, I’ve sold this since it was not quite pocketable and I felt it was “lacking’. Photography, for me, has a lot to do with feeling. If a camera doesn’t feel good, I’m gonna lose it.
